How to avoid problems in cooling system of high temperature and high pressure vacuum furnace


The failure of high-temperature and high-pressure vacuum furnace is often due to the problem of the cooling system, which is an important part of the vacuum furnace. The cooling water circuit shall be kept smooth, otherwise the machine will be shut down due to the rise of water temperature. This is a problem that is often ignored in the work of high-temperature and high-pressure    vacuum furnaces. When nobody manages it, it may lead to major damage to the vacuum furnace.

The purpose of treating cooling water with the aid of biological decomposition chemistry is to keep minerals in suspension, reduce the accumulation of sediments in rubber tubes, serpentine tubes and water jackets, and make the water flow smooth. This is generally done by an automatic device, which can monitor the conductivity of water, automatically replenish chemicals, wash the water circuit and add fresh water. In cooperation with the auxiliary steam filtration system, this method can also ensure the pH control of water and prevent the deposition of excess minerals in the cooling water system. After the system works stably, the water quality test shall be conducted at least once a month to prevent over treatment or under treatment.

The test samples of high-temperature and high-pressure vacuum furnace shell and heat exchanger materials should also be placed in the waterway system, and the weight loss should be inspected once a year to check the treatment effect. Special attention must be paid to the serpentine tube cooler of the diffusion pump. It should be checked frequently. If it is blocked, the diffusion pump will overheat and lose its function, and further cause the heater of the diffusion pump to burn out, resulting in expensive and time-consuming repair. When the serpentine cooling water pipe is blocked, disconnect the water circuit from the water source, drain water, blow through with compressed air or wash with dilute acetic acid solution.
